VANQUISH WAIST REDUCTION
WHAT IS A VANQUISH WAIST REDUCTION?
VANQUISH is an FDA-approved, non-invasive, no-touch, deep-tissue heating procedure that uses radiofrequency(RF) energy to help destroy fat cells and slim your waistline. The VANQUISH treatment is an ideal option to target areas of the body that include the waistline, back fat, “muffin top,” and “love handles.” We recommend that patients have four to six treatments, one week apart, in order to maximize their results. Most patients realize a two-inch to five-inch reduction in their waist measurement upon completion of their treatment series.
WHAT SHOULD I KNOW?
You are a perfect candidate for this procedure if you have that bulging waistline, back fat, “muffin top,” or “love handles” that just won’t budge. Unfortunately, you are not a candidate if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant, or have permanent metallic implants in your body. The VANQUISH can treat all complexion types. Due to the fine design of the system, there are virtually no side effects. Each session lasts 30 to 45 minutes. We recommend that patients have four to six treatments one week apart in order to maximize their results. Patients typically see results after the second or third session, but the maximum results are not seen until two weeks after your last session.
WHAT DOES THE PROCEDURE INVOLVE?
It is very important for you to be well hydrated prior to the procedure. We will provide you with specific instructions. This helps the specially designed sensors identify your body fat more easily and better customize the amount of energy needed to zap the fat. It also helps your body eliminate the destroyed fat cells faster. Upon arrival for each treatment, the patient will be weighed and their BMI (Body Mass Index) will be measured. We will also take a measurement of the patient’s waist. Throughout the treatment, the patient lies comfortably on a bed with the device positioned 1 cm to 2 cm from the skin in the targeted area. VANQUISH is able to selectively heat the fat cells while the surrounding tissue remain unaffected. Patients report that it feels warm but not uncomfortable, somewhat like a mildly warm heating pad.
HOW LONG IS RECOVERY AND WHEN CAN I RESUME MY NORMAL ACTIVITIES?
There is absolutely NO DOWN TIME with this treatment. After your treatment you may experience some warmth, redness, and minor swelling in the treatment area that resolves quickly and you can go back to your daily routine immediately. There is NO PAIN and NO ANESTHETIC required with the VANQUISH treatment.
